Considering a Kamado is it worth it?

I've done most of my grilling on a gas grill, but I'm tempted to try charcoal for that richer flavor. I keep seeing kamados like the Joe or Sumo pop up, but they're pretty pricey. Is anyone out there who thinks they're worth the extra cash compared to a Weber Spirit?

If you're chasing flavor, a kamado beats gas every time. The only catch is they run hotter and slower to cool, so you gotta learn the airflow.
