Hmm, for this I suggest the Kamado Joe Classic or Primo Oval... They hold heat real well and they are also great for low-and-slow or cranking it up for searing steaks.

@SmokeyBBQ yep, I'm in team Kamado too, like the guy above me. but, I like the Kamado Joe Classic II more. It's got great features like a multi level cooking system and an easy ash clean out, plus the ceramic holds heat like a champ for those long smokes. The Classic III is even fancier if your budget stretches, but the II is a solid performer. what's your budget, btw?
