Opinions for Kamado grills?

I'm trying to find a good quality grills and I've been hearing a lot about Kamado grills lately and i need to know what your thoughts about these grills are. I know they are pretty pricey, but money is not a problem at all, i just need something high-quality and long lasting. Thanks in advance.

It's got amazing heat retention and durable. Kamado's quite a solid choice for quality. What other brands have you looked into?

If money's no issue, go for a top-tier brand like Komodo Kamado or Big Green Egg

i'm a biased big green egg fan, but if you step up to the price, you will have it for the rest of your life. the way to buy it is to find a local dealer who has an annual Eggfest, or just google Eggfest and your location. normally, the dealer allows vendors to cook on a new egg, then sells the "demo" eggs at a good discount.

you might also check at the big green egg forum (google for the link). there are bound to be folks on that forum that have or had both a kamado and an egg and will be glad to share their opinions.
